The Adventure GuideFrequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our packs, safety protocols, and trail life. We believe in total transparency for your peace of mind.
Safety First
From GPS trackers to First Aid training, your dog’s safety is the foundation of every walk we take.
Joining & Evaluations
I visit your home for 15-20 minutes to meet you and your dog. This is a “vibe check” to ensure everyone feels comfortable before we book an official assessment walk.
This is a mandatory 1-on-1 assessment. I observe prey drive, recall, and social reactions. It allows me to place your dog in the group where they will be happiest.
Yes, the first 3 group walks are considered a trial. We monitor how your dog integrates with the “Known Pack” to ensure a stress-free experience for everyone.
Puppies can join once they have completed their full vaccination schedule. We start them with shorter, lower-impact explorations to protect their growing joints.
Playgroup Logistics
The dogs spend 60-90 minutes of active time in the forest. Total time away from home is usually 2-3 hours including pickup and drop-off.
We walk in all weather! Dogs love the forest in the rain. If weather is dangerous (extreme heat or storms), we shift to shorter “relief walks” for safety.
Dogs travel in our Adventure Van, fitted with secure, ventilated crates and climate control. No loose dogs in the van—safety is our priority.
We use a portable shower and towels to clean off the worst of the mud. We recommend leaving a towel by your door for us to do a final wipe-down.
Yes. If recall isn’t 100%, we use 10-15 meter long-lines so they can still explore safely without being “loose.”
Health & Safety
Every dog new to the pack or with selective hearing wears a Tractive GPS unit. We can pinpoint their location instantly on our phones.
Yes, I am certified in Canine First Aid. The van is equipped with a professional-grade medical kit for the trail.
All dogs must be current on Distemper, Parvo, and Hepatitis. Kennel Cough and Leishmania (for travel dogs) are highly recommended.
Intact males are welcome if they are socially balanced. Intact females cannot join group walks for 3 weeks while in heat.
Pet Photography
Absolutely! 90% of the dogs I shoot are on a lead. I use professional editing (Photoshop) to “magically” remove the lead from your final portraits.
You’ll receive a preview within 48 hours. The final edited gallery is typically delivered via a secure link within 2 weeks.
That’s my job! I use high-speed shutters and plenty of “dog-whispering” tricks (and treats) to capture their personality, even if they are high energy.
Booking & Payments
We accept Payconiq, bank transfers, and automated billing for regular pack members. Payments are due at the time of booking or via monthly invoice.
We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Within 24 hours, the full fee applies as we cannot fill that spot on short notice.
Yes! We offer a discounted rate for two dogs from the same household joining the same group walk.
